What steps you need to consider while doing online reputation management?

Reputation management refers to monitor the reputation of any person or brand and addressing contents that are damaging to it as well as using customer feedback to get feedback or early signals to reputation issues. There are a few steps you need to consider that we have mentioned below.

Step 1: monitoring your reputation

You can not fix a reputation issue and build trust if you don't know what people are thinking about you. Otherwise, affect a problem change in their perception of you. This is the reason that monitoring your online reputation is a key element of the definition of ORM (online reputation management) and the first component of a sound online reputation management strategy. In addition to this, monitoring your own reputation has many additional advantages. For example- it helps you track the success of a product launch or PR efforts, identify industry influencers who might help you and spy on the huge competition.

Furthermore, monitoring your business or your reputation online can take many forms. We have mentioned a few more common ways to track perceptions.

  1. Setup Google alerts for your name like business, individual, etc.

  2. Use monitoring tools such as trackur or social mention

  3. Search Twitter and other social media channels your name regularly.

Step 2: addressing damaging content online

Keep in mind that addressing content damaging to your personal or business brand online and making good content to counter it, is the best part of the definition of online reputation management and includes many ethical gray areas. For example:

  • · Respond fast and politely to negative feedback or social media channels.
  • · Submit legal takes down requests to fight libel.
  • · Must ask other websites to remove false information
  • · Encounter customers to post reviews and feedback online
  • · Must publish new and unique content regularly on your website and other channels
  • · Ensure content and channels are properly optimized for search engines.
  • · Must create unique and easy to understand content on other websites to push down negative content or damaging content in search results.

Step 3: using client feedback

When your hired online reputation management company monitoring your personal or professional reputation online, they will find feedback from your customers and clients you can use to create trust and better serve your targeted customers. Some of the things that can help you in bringing down the negative listings online:

  • Must use sub domains on your website
  • Write and publish PR in the top PR sites.
  • Create additional websites about your websites
  • Must create social media strategy simply by registering the company in leading social channels like facebook, twitter, etc.
  • Ensure your website is easily accessible by search engines and focus on search engine optimization properly.
  • Submit articles in good websites and include your brand name in the resource box.
  • PPC (pay per click) campaigns can be used against your brand name so as to get more above the fold spots and push any negative review down the search page.
  • Must use Google alerts and RSS feeds to keep an eye on what is being said about you or your company, products or services online.

Funnels vs Website

Hi all Whenever a prospect ask me what is a funnel is and why it is better than a website I make a comparation with the evolution of cassete tape, cd, dvd, Blu Ray, pen drive and cloud storage. I say that funnels are the website evolution and that it's made to actually sell things online, while websites function as a mere brochure. If you were to describe funnels in simple terms for a average prospect to understand it, how would you say it?

Hi guys new here

Hi guys I'm new here.

I have a niche Idea for my website.

I would like to write a blog about people getting scammed in a certain niche, and eventually offering them some sort of an educational program for them to buy. ( not my product but to dropship someone's else)

Any Ideas what kind of information I need to make this Idea into reality?

example:

How do I know which domain is good.

How can I know if my niche is a good Idea to SEO it ( if you know what I mean ), how do I research my keywords for example.

Is it possible to dropship someone else's product on my blog ?

How does it work in generally.

I would really love if someone can answer those questions for me :) Thanks a lot !
